The Port des Lumières in HafenCity is one of Hamburg's most extraordinary sights and sets new standards in the field of digital art education. Over 1,700 square metres of projections, music and movement merge here to create an impressive overall experience that captivates visitors of all ages. The Port des Lumières is a centre for digital and immersive art, operated by the international cultural provider Culturespaces. Unlike in traditional museums, the works of art here do not hang on the wall - they fill the entire room. Huge projection surfaces, motion animations and powerful music turn art into an all-round experience in which visitors are completely immersed.

Masterpieces such as those by Vermeer, Van Gogh, Klimt or Hundertwasser have already been staged in impressive shows, complemented by thematic content and modern interpretations. Visitors move freely through the space, sit down, move on, stand still and experience art more intensively than ever before.
